Completely built in. The draft note is generated inside HelloNote, connected to the right patient and case automatically. No third-party app, no copy-paste, no separate login. The entire workflow from recording to signed note stays in one platform.
What happens to my client's audio after the session?+
Session audio is processed to generate your SOAP draft under the same HIPAA-compliant security standards as all patient data in HelloNote. HelloNote does not use session audio to train AI models. A Business Associate Agreement is included on every plan.
Do I need patient consent to use AI Scribe?+
Best practice — and a legal requirement in all-party consent states — is to disclose AI scribe use before recording. HelloNote provides verbal consent language templates for use at intake or at the start of any session. We recommend using them in every state.
Does AI Scribe work for both evals AND treatment sessions?+
Yes — that is exactly why we built two modes. Ambient mode records the live session for evaluations. Dictation mode captures spoken observations after hands-on treatment sessions. Both produce a structured SOAP draft inside HelloNote.
